Rocky Mountain National Park

Date: Thu, Sep 15th, 2011

During September and early October each year a spectacle of Nature is played out in the Meadows of Rocky Mountain National Park.Male Elk begin the process of herding females in hopes of mating with them to pass on their genes. It is fun to observe and record. People from all over the region come to get a glimpse of interactions, often bringing picnic lunches, setup chairs and enjoy coctail hour while watching the show.
